Installation Guide
Before you begin
Maison Moya Bruxelles lighting is designed to bring a warm, sculptural atmosphere into the home. For wired ceiling fixtures and pendants, installation should be completed by a qualified electrician and always follow local electrical codes. Keep the power switched off at the breaker before any handling, unpack every part carefully, and check the product page for bulb type, wattage and finish details.
What is usually included
Most pendant and ceiling lights include the shade or fixture body, canopy, textile or electrical cable, mounting hardware and basic assembly elements. Some decorative pieces may ship in separate protective layers to preserve the finish. If a part appears missing or damaged, contact contact@maison-moya.com before installation.
Pendant and ceiling light installation
- Confirm the fixture location and ceiling support with your electrician.
- Adjust the cable length before the final connection when the design allows it.
- Secure the mounting bracket and canopy according to the supplied hardware.
- Connect wiring only with power fully switched off and in line with local standards.
- Install a compatible LED bulb and test the fixture before final styling.
Table and floor lamps
Place the lamp on a stable, dry surface and use the recommended bulb type only. Avoid covering shades or placing fabric, paper or foliage directly against the bulb. If your lamp has a dimmer, pair it with a dimmable LED bulb for the smoothest light control.
Care after installation
Dust with a soft dry cloth. For glass or ceramic finishes, use a slightly damp microfiber cloth and dry immediately. Avoid harsh cleaners, abrasive pads and excessive moisture. Keep packaging until the product has been tested and approved in your space.
